Hey loves,
I already have some lipsticks from Wet N Wild and since the quality was amazing, I decided to buy some of their other products. I bought the Color Icon bronzer in the colour ‘Ticket To Brazil’. I’ve always been a tad afraid of bronzers, so let’s see how this works out!
First and foremost, the amount that you get for the price that you have to pay, is rather outstanding. This compact is big, but like massive, it might even be bigger than my hand. I don’t know if I will ever hit pan! You get 13.0g, which is a lot. Also I like the names that they gave to the bronzers: Ticket to Brazil, Reserve Your Cabana and Bikini Contest. After a lot of research, I finally decided to pick Ticket To Brazil, since I was looking for a nice and buildable bronzer to give my face some glow!
I know the packinging might not be everyone’s favourite and truthfully, I really don’t care, as long as the product inside performs well.. everybody happy! The bronzer has an SPF 15 in it, protecting your skin from the sun during the year, which is a bonus!
The texture is very smooth, buildable and blendable! The only thing that I don’t like that much is that it can be powdery.
Ticket to Brazil is a beautiful soft golden brown colour with a hint of gold shimmer in it. I know, you read ‘shimmer’ and you think “oh god no, I’m going to pass otherwise I’ll look like a discoball.” Don’t worry at all! The shimmer isn’t visible on your face, it leaves a nice glow without shimmery particles all over your face! It gives you (or at least me) the most beautiful sunkissed look and glow.
I have used a light hand with the bronzer on the pictures above me, I’m still a bit afraid of going overboard and looking like a fool, haha. Be aware that this bronzer is light and will suit Light/some medium skintones. If you want a bronzer that is a bit darker, you might want to look at Bikini Contest, which is darker and has a more red undertone.
To wrap this review up, this is my first bronzer and my favourite one so far, give me that Ticket To Brazil arribaaaaa! It’s perfect for my skintone and I will continue using it and try to hit the pan (emphasise on ‘try’). Be sure to check out the Color Icon bronzers by Wet N Wild and do some research to find out which one will be good for you! (little tip, Reserve Your Cabana is not a bronzer, it is a highlighter, repeat not a bronzer!)
Lots of love and see you next time!
