Hey loves,
My NYX collection seems to be growing, rather slowly but still!
After the colours Stockholm and Rome, I decided that I needed another colour of their Soft Matte Lip Creams. So, when I went shopping with my best friend, I gave in to the temptation and bought number 14: Zurich!
I have already written reviews for Stockholm and Rome. So I’m going to keep it short when it comes to the finish, packaging, etc.. but you can of course check out the previous reviews for further information!
The product comes in a tube with the same colour as the product itself and with a matte black cap. It has a doe foot applicator making it easy to distribute the product evenly. I feel like they changed the doe foot applicator. It’s a bit thinner and less hairy (excuse my use of words). It’s less fluffy than the applicator of Rome and Stockholm. The names are mentioned on the bottom of the tube.Zurich is a rosy nude colour with a coral undertone. Absolutely perfect for spring! It’s a bright colour but at the same time nude. I personally think it’s a beautiful nude for people with a light complexion. The soft matte finish makes the cream very comfortable to wear and you hardly feel like you have anything on your lips while wearing it!
Zurich has become my favourite everyday nude to wear in spring, it looks very natural and flattering on my skin tone!
The whipped formula last for about 5-6 hours, depending on what you eat or drink of course. Although I have experienced myself that it survives a pizza! The formula does not crumble nor crack and is transfer/kiss proof! Excuse my dry lips, they had been suffering a lot of lip swatches before finally applying Zurich and had zero moisture in it.
In the NYX store, I experienced some doubt when buying Zurich, because I felt like it was pretty similar to Stockholm. Fortunately, it is not. Stockholm is more brown, while Zurich is more rose/red-toned. They are both still very pretty though! And here you can see Zurich in action and on my face! Truly a spring colour, no?
I absolutely adore the colour and its low maintenance.
There we go, my third Soft Matte Lip Cream and still loving the whipped formula, colour pay off and comfortability. I hoped you enjoyed this review. Do you have any Soft Matte Lip Creams and how do you feel about them?
Lots of love and see you next time!
