Makeup Revolution has released some new highlighters. They are called the ‘Skin Kiss’ Highlighters. From the 4 shades, I bought the one that attracted me the most, Ice Kiss and today I will be reviewing it for you!
Ice Kiss is the lightest colour in the range. You also have Golden Kiss and Peach Kiss, as the name says, they are a golden and peach highlighters! I didn’t buy Peach Kiss because I knew it might’ve been a tad too dark for my skin tone. The same goes for Golden Kiss, but I still think I might buy Golden Kiss, for the sake of reviewing the consistency of the Skin Kiss line!
The product comes in a golden cardboard box, which is absolutely beautiful. It has the name of the highlighter on the front, together with the brand and of course ‘Skin Kiss’. On the back of the box, you can find the ingredients and some additional information. You can keep this highlighter for 12 months. I will keep it longer since its a powder and not a cream or something liquid, but when it will start to smell, I will toss it out! The Highlighter contains 14 grams.
The product itself comes in a compact with a beautiful rose-gold colour and is made to be sturdy. It feels really heavy and testifies of excellent quality. I really like the packaging and feel like the Makeup Revolution team has really stepped up their packaging game! Also, these are huge! Even bigger than the palm of my hand.
The product has a sunburst pattern stamped on it, which is a nice touch since it looks very luxurious! You get a mirror inside the compact which is also a bonus! The colour in the pan looks a bit golden on the picture, but in real life, it is white with a slight golden hint to it.
When you swatch it, you can immediately see the finely milled formula of the highlighter. It almost doesn’t look like powder but like a cream! It gives a metallic to pearlized finish. The colour is stunning as well, it’s a bright silvery white but with a golden sheen when you catch the light. It does have shimmer, but it’s so finely milled that you can barely see it. Don’t let the pictures fool you, I used a light hand, haha. This highlighter is incredibly pigmented and gives the most beautiful glow to your skin. You can build it up since it is so finely milled and you will not see any powder! Makeup Revolution has done an incredible job when it comes to their new range of Skin Kiss highlighters! I want more shades that are not too dark for me!
