Semi-Full Face: 4x Catrice Cosmetics Review

Hello loves,
I have bought a few Catrice products and I thought that I might as well throw them together in one review. Today I present to you a foundation, primer, mascara and lip cream!

Catrice Nude Glow Primer
I bought this primer because I saw Kathleen Lights using it in a video and pair that with the word ‘glow’ on the packaging. Not hard to imagine that I ran out of my house to buy this little fella. It promises an instant luminous finish, being long lasting and can be worn under foundation or on its own. It contains Pomegranate oil.

The primer comes in a tube and looks sleek. You can find the ingredients on the back of the primer. I like the finish a lot. I feel like this primer revitalizes my face and makes me look healthy and dewy. It does seem to extent the wear of my makeup. The primer has the texture of a moisturizer and has a slight tint which fades when you blend it out. There is one big problem however and I think it lies in the pomegranate oil. I feel like the scent of this is horrible and does not fade. Therefore I do not use this product to often.

Catrice All Matt Plus Foundation
I like this foundation, although it is not very matte. It has a subtle sheen to it but I do not mind that. The foundation has a whipped and quite thick formula. Not mousse-like, just thick but it does however not feel heavy on the skin. It has a light-medium coverage that is buildable. It’s a perfect everyday foundation when you don’t have too much texture or breakouts going on. However, the shade range is disappointing with only four shades and the shade that I have, which is 010 Light Beige, is slightly too dark and has a weird grayish undertone.

Catrice Glam & Doll Volume Mascara
I am a fan of this mascara for my everyday minimal makeup-days. This separates the lashes beautifully and gives them the right amount of volume. It does not lump up. However, it makes my lashes feel quite dry and I feel like they are falling out because of that. Last but not least, I love the wand!

Catrice Velvet Matt Lip Cream in Midnude Season
I like this colour, it is however quite unfortunate that my lips are so red. I really have to use a lipliner to hide the red rims of my lips because otherwise this looks weird since the shade is so pale. It feels very comfortable on the lips due to the velvet finish with sheen. The pigmentation is very opaque and not streaky and I really do like the colour!

And here is the full face using 4 Catrice products! You will see which (beautiful) palette I am wearing on my eyes in a few days!

That’s it for this semi-full face of Catrice Cosmetics. Which products did you like?
I really like the Velvet Matte Lip Cream and the Mascara.
Lots of love and see you next time!

  1. I heard great things about that primer, but we don’t have it here unfortunately. It sucks that you don’t like smell, I always hate when I can’t get on with scents of products. xx

Performing wise it is an excellent primer but unfortunately I have a sensitive nose and it happens all the time that I can’t use products which smell too strong. Maybe I should send the primer to you? Haha xx

      1. It is really hard to find good glowing primer, it sucks that scent is strong, but maybe you’ll get used to it. Haha, I would love to try it though, I hope it will come here with their new collection. xx
