There comes a time, especially when you buy a lot of makeup, that you use up certain products. Today, I want to show you which makeup/skincare products I have emptied during the last months.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
Let’ start with one of my favourite products to remove every ounce of makeup on my face. I have been repurchasing this specific product ever since I found out about it. I was using the ‘Sensitive skin’ one at first but quickly switched to the ‘Sensitive and combination skin’ one after finding out that it was a lot more gentle! This product doesn’t sting nor does it irritate your face and eyes. It removes every single trace of makeup, even waterproof mascara! It does leave a slight residue on the skin which I like to rinse off with water afterwards.
YesTo Grapefruit Rejuvenating Wipes
Massive hatred towards this product. I would not recommend this. It irritated and stung my face and it truly felt like it was burning my skin. My face ended up super red whenever I tried to use this. I would NOT repurchase.
Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Wipes
These wipes were a lot better than the previous ones, however, they also weren’t the best. They didn’t irritate my skin and removed most of my makeup. I did have to go over my face with micellar water to remove leftover makeup. I felt like these wipes were lacking moisture, they are not wet enough. I would maybe repurchase them.
Diardermine Hydrating Cleansing Wipes
These wipes were by far my favourite. They were very gentle on the skin and removed makeup quite well. There is a smell but nothing too major and it doesn’t linger. I’m not too sure if they really hydrate my skin but they definitely don’t dry it out! I would like them to have a bit more moisture.
Mario Badescu Whitening Mask
My goodness. This didn’t do anything. This mask claims to make your skin more radiant and is supposed to give you a more even-toned complexion. It’s also supposed to help any discolouration and dehydration. I can tell you that this is not worth the price tag because it did nothing. Absolutely nothing at all. The claims are a big pile of horseshit and I would never buy this again. ๐
Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer
This is my favourite concealer of all time. I have not found anything else that compares to this. It doesn’t have high coverage like it says in the name, it’s rather a medium coverage that is buildable. It has a satin-matte finish and looks extremely natural on my dry skin. It also has a nice longevity. The biggest con to this is the smell, it’s quite strong. However, I have gotten used to it after using it for +/- two years. Highly recommend!
Catrice Lash Brow Designer Gel
I used to be a big fan of this and it is better than most of the brow gels I have to this day. Especially for the drugstore. However, I have fallen in love with setting my brows with some hairspray on a spoolie. I doubt I would repurchase this again.
Essence The Cushion Liner
I was so excited about this product and my heart was shattered when I come home. It was already completely dried up when I purchased it and I didn’t know. I have heard great things about this though! I will repurchase because I have to try it when it isn’t dried up, haha.
Essence Make Me Brow
This brow gel gets the same explanation as of the brow gel from Catrice. However, it is a bit messy because there’s too much product on the brush. It also doesn’t keep the hairs up for a long time.
Essence All About Matt Compact Fixing Powder
I love this powder because it sets my face without giving my skin an overly powdered look. It prevents creasing and is transparent. I have already repurchased this!
Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer
I will leave my review here and then you can guess whether or not I will repurchase it.
Makeup Revolution Pro Fix Spray
This product was meh. It has a very strong alcohol scent and alcohol is also very high on the ingredients list. Something I would rather avoid. It didn’t do much to prolong the wear of my makeup and other things. Wouldn’t repurchase.
L.A. Girl Pro Setting Spray
Again, the same thing as the Makeup Revolution one. Didn’t really do anything and alcohol is high on the ingredients list. It’s also a bit pricey for the amount of product that you get. Would not repurchase.
Catrice Prime & Fine Dewy Glow Fixing Spray
I love this fixing spray. It’s amazing. It gives you a glowy finish without looking like a disco ball or an oil ball. It doesn’t have chunky glitters. This spray also melts powders beautifully and gets rid of cakiness. You can also use it as a primer because it’s slightly tacky until it dries down. I have already repurchased it, haha.
That’s it for my recent empties! I hope you enjoyed this post and found some new products to try or to steer clear from! A decluttering post is next!
Lots of love and see you next time!
