So, I think I spent about €45.08 on everything you’re about to see. Some items from essence were lowered in price. Even cheaper than they already are. I think that’s not bad at all. That’s almost the same price as my ABH Riviera palette. I recently was so sucked into the more high-end side of makeup, that I accidentally forgot about drugstore makeup. Even though I absolute most of my drugstore products and use them daily. This little haul rekindled my love for the drugstore again!
Catrice Dewy Glow Fixing Spray – Repurchase
This is my all time favourite dewy setting spray. I use it as a primer spray as well. It refreshes the makeup and takes away any powderiness. It also gives a beautiful luminosity to the skin. It’s truly amazing and so cheap. This is actually a back-up to the back-up. I currently have three of them in my collection.
Makeup Revolution Fast Base Stick Foundation – Repurchase
This is also a repurchase because I’m almost at the end of the other one. I had to buy this again because it looks so nice on my skin and doesn’t cling to any dry patches. It’s also one of the best shade matches ever.
Essence You Better Work! Tinted Day Cream – New
This is a new product to my collection. I didn’t have a tinted day cream and I read some reviews on this, including of course drugstore queen Simple Serenity’s review. I just had to have this to try out. I’m a bit scared about the shade though. I picked the lightest shade but it looks a bit orange. I’m excited to try it though.
Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer – Repurchase
Yup. I repurchased them again. I can’t help myself. This is just my favourite concealer and I haven’t found one that is better. I use this as a foundation as well because it looks beautiful. This is such a gem to me.
Essence Camouflage Healthy Glow Concealer – New
I was so interested in this product because it has healthy and glow in its name. Also, very interesting how this also has ‘camouflage’ in it. I’m curious to see how similar this is to the Catrice one and how it performs.
Essence #Insta Perfect Liquid Highlighter – New
This was another purchase influenced by Simple Serenity. I highly recommend checking out her blog! I’m on the hunt for more cream and liquid products for the summer. I immediately put this in my basket when I saw this. The colour looks really pretty and I can’t wait to try it!
Catrice 3D Glow Highlighter – New
I saw this in the Catrice section, swatched the tester and I was blown away by the swatch. This was so intense and glowy when swatched. I’m really interested to see how it works on my fair complexion and how it performs in general.
Essence Melted Chrome Eyeshadow – New
This is heavily inspired by Simple Serenity & Mademoiselle O’Lantern’s reviews on this product. It looked so beautiful and metallic and I just wanted to try this so much. So exciting!
Essence Lash Princess – New
I really need a new mascara because I didn’t have one anymore. I had the Colourpop one but I really don’t like to use it anymore. A lot of people seem to rave about this one and I’m curious to see what it does to my lashes.
Essence Lip Ritual Nourishing Balm – New
This is yet again, a Simple Serenity inspired purchase. I really wanted to try this because I think the packaging is so cute. But I also needed a new lip balm so, haha.
Catrice Lip Treatment – Repurchase
This is such a good lip balm product. It’s extremely nourishing and moisturising. I love to apply this heavily at night and my lips feel so soft and hydrated in the morning. I was running out of my previous one, so I decided to repurchase this.
So that guys was my drugstore haul. I hope you enjoyed it. It really sparked the love for the drugstore again and I already want to buy more.
