Hey loves and welcome back to my blog!
Today’s post is going to be a review on a new BH Cosmetics collab with Daisy Marquez.
I recently picked up this product because I saw a lot of good reviews and I decided to make this palette my first BH Cosmetics product!
First of all, the packaging is the cutest. The palette itself looks like a Tiffany & Co box which is so cute. The inside contains twenty shades of which twelve mattes and twelve shimmers. The palette also has a detachable mirror which you can put inside the palette and create a little vanity. Which is just, ugh, so cute. This palette retails for โฌ21,25 on Beauty Bay but also retails for $23 on Bhcosmetics.com (obviously). BH Cosmetics always seems to have a sale on their site, making the palette even cheaper. This palette is vegan and cruelty-free.
Now, for the formula of these eyeshadows. The mattes are very dry and powdery. They have a lot of kick-up but not necessarily a lot of fall-out. However, I think I will hit pan on these very quickly. The mattes blend very nicely, from the lightest to the darkest shade. However, make sure you don’t layer too many shades because the shadow will start to skip on the eyes and turn a bit patchy. If you don’t layer too much, the mattes blend beautifully and very easily. The shadows are also extremely pigmented, so a little goes a long way.
The shimmers are very metallic but not foiled. You get a lot of pigmentation with the slightest bit of product. They blend very well into each other and don’t cause any harsh lines. I do have to mention that the shimmers are very crumbly and I think I will pan these very quickly. I used the shade Lucid about three times and I think I’m almost hitting pan on it. That’s a little annoying but yeah. Other than that, I love the shimmers. They’re very soft, buttery and metallic.

LOOKS
That’s it for today’s review guys. I have really enjoyed using this palette and I feel like you can achieve a lot of variety with it. There are so many looks you can do and it truly inspires me. I really like my first BH Cosmetics palette and I can’t wait to use it every single day, haha. Have you ever tried BH Cosmetics?
Lots of love and see you next time!
