Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer: Worth The Price Tag?

Charlotte-Tilbury-Airbrush-Bronzer-Fair-Swatches-Review

Hey guys,
Charlotte Tilbury is a brand that is loved by many and has its fair share of cult products. Recently she released the Airbrush Bronzer and for the first time, I caved immediately. Let’s review!

This is actually my first Charlotte Tilbury. For years, the Airbrush Flawless Powder, lipsticks, Hollywood contour wand, Hollywood Flawless Filter and many other products have been on my wishlist. When I saw that she had released the new Airbrush Bronzer, something inside my snapped and I didn’t pay attention to the price tag and completed the purchase. A few days later, thanks to superb delivery from Cult Beauty, the beauty had arrived.

Airbrush Bronzer is my NEW! next generation matte innovation for that flawless summer feeling. A hyaluronic adcid-infused, smoothing, pore-blurring effect matte bronzer for the face and body! Inspired by my 1 sold every minute worldwide phenomenon, Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder. My NEW Airbrush Bronzer uses the same beautifying Airbrush DNA and fine-as-air finely milled pigments to make you look and feel the best, most beautiful version of yourself.

The packaging is really pretty. I love how it looks like a vintage piece of makeup. I can see why a lot of people love to collect her products. They are absolutely stunning. Another bonus about the packaging is that they thought about sustainability. The compacts are refillable! There’s a little hole on the bottom of the compact where you can pop out the bronzer and insert a new pan. I love this idea because the waste of buying a new bronzer every time you finish it can be wasteful. It doesn’t happen often but if it does, you can just buy a new pan without throwing out the older compact.

The Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer comes in four shades: Fair – Medium – Tan – Deep. I purchased the shade Fair because I’m a fair gal. I was actually surprised when I received the shade and worried whether it was too light. Luckily, it’s pigmented enough to work on my skin. It’s a light shade with a slight orange tone to it. The orange undertone isn’t too strong and it’s almost like the lightest peach. I really like the shade of the bronzer.

The bronzer has a matte finish. Which is something that I had to get used to again. I’m a big lover of bronzers with a slight sheen to it or cream bronzers with a slightly dewy finish. A matte finish was a little weird in the beginning haha. But I actually like the effect of this bronzer. It looks really pretty on the face and not too cakey.

The formula is very finely milled and feels very soft to the touch. It’s quite pigmented but buildable at the same time. Especially the shade Fair is very buildable and hard to overdo. Some people have mentioned that the shade Fair looks like a bigger version of their Flawless Finish Powder but I think this doesn’t have the transluceny that a setting powder has. It’s a bit too pigmented and opaque to be a setting powder, in my opinion.

There’s only one thing that could be considered as a little negative point. The compact is so big and maybe a bit too bulky because of it. It doesn’t fit in my current daily makeup bag and I think it would be a bit inconvenient when travelling. It’s almost too excessive haha. But that’s personal preference though. The appearance of the bronzer is stunning, but the size is a bit too much for me.

The Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer retails for ยฃ39-$55-โ‚ฌ50. It’s available on Cult Beauty, Sephora, De Bijenkorf, Sephora FR, Feel Unique or Charlotte Tilbury‘s website. Gotta give you the full list because my audience is quite international haha. I think ยฃ39 is a great price for this bronzer because you get 16 GRAMS. Fenty, for example, only has 6,23 grams for ยฃ25.

All in all I really like this bronzer and I’ve actually already made quite a dent in it, haha. I love the nod to sustainability with the refillable pans and the packaging is beautiful. It’s a beautiful matte bronzer that makes the face look sunkissed.
Lots of love and see you next time!

  1. It looks pretty, but I don’t know if I’d splurge that much on bronzer. I like the undertone though

    1. I think I splurged because it’s sixteen grams of products, which is a lot compared to most bronzers. So price – quantity wise, I was rationalising it haha. But it’s definitely a splurge! x

  3. This is seriously such a gorgeous bronzer, I know Iโ€™m going to grab it but Iโ€™m def unsure about the shade to grab. It was helpful to hear your thoughts on the fair shade!
