So, I haven’t bought eyeshadow palettes since august 2019. However, something came in my way and I broke the routine. The E.L.F. Bite Size Eyeshadows are affordable and promise a lot of things but are they worth it?
So there isn’t too much that I can say about the packaging, haha. They’re pretty small and contain four shades. There’s no mirror but I don’t mind because they’re so tiny. They’re very travel friendly when it comes to size but I would be a bit careful because they are delicate. One of the shades in the blue quad has already broken 😦
I bought the following quads: Berry Bad, Açai You and Hot Jalapeño. So basically a blue one, berry one and a green one.
These little palettes retail for only €4,00. I want you to take a minute and let that sink in. Four euros. That’s a pretty amazing price and more affordable than some brands like Catrice and Essence. But are they even worth the small price tag? Let’s find out!
BERRY BAD
The shades are quite pigmented, especially the darkest shade which surprised me. I love this little quad and I created a look that will become my standard event (wedding/party) makeup look when corona is over (See my Testing New Makeup video). The blend was very effortless and I’m actually impressed by this quad.
HOT JALAPEÑO
This one is sooooo pretty and I love the green shades. Most green eyeshadows turn very muddy on my eyes and get patchy. This quad worked perfectly fine and the colours blended out really well without losing the vibrancy of colour. Also the yellow-green shimmer is INSANE.
AçAI YOU
This is another beautiful quad. I love this for more editorial blue looks because I’m not the type to wear blue eyeshadow on a daily basis haha. The shimmers are a bit less impactful but the mattes are, yet again, beautiful!
That’s it for today’s review. I really love these little palettes and I think E.L.F. did an incredible job with this formula. This competes with some of the high-end brands in my collection. I think if you’re interested in some shadows and don’t want to break the bank, this is your answer!
