I follow a lot of Youtubers and other influencers with dry skin and finding concealers which brighten and don’t look dry under the skin seems to be a search for all of us. Lately, I saw a lot of people mentioning the Kosas Revealer Concealer and I got intrigued. Let’s see what all the fuss is about!
A medium-coverage, super creamy concealer, eye cream, and spot treatment in one that visibly brightens and helps reveal better skin over time.
– Kosas
The Kosas Revealer concealer is also Gluten-free, Alcohol-free, vegan and cruelty-free. I’m really happy that this concealer is alcohol-free because lately, I’ve found out that fragrance and certain alcohols sensitize my skin.

I purchased the colour Tone 01 and I think it’s probably the best match in terms of colour I have ever had. Tone 01 is described as a Porcelain with cool undertones. I would say it’s more of a neutral shade. It’s not too cool or warm. Not too pink or yellow. Just a nice in between. There are 16 shades which isn’t amazing but I tend to give small brands some leeway for the future. There’s also a nice distribution between colours.
The formula is very whipped and almost jelly-like. Imagine sugar frosting but the smoothest sugar frosting you have felt. The concealer doesn’t look cakey or heavy but melts into the skin really nicely. It does feel a bit tacky but it’s not bothersome. Sometimes a tacky foundation or concealer can really feel like it’s suffocating your skin but not this one.

The finish doesn’t look overly dewy but just natural. It’s really a layer of second skin. It doesn’t emphasise fine lines or dry patches but instead seems to ‘hydrate’ them slightly. It also works very well as a foundation which is a huge bonus for me. The coverage is medium but very buildable. I wouldn’t build up too much product though because then it might become too much.

That’s it for today’s review. This has been my favourite concealer lately and has taken up the number 1 spot from my Catrice concealer and the Makeup Revolution Hydrate Concealer. This is just the best! You can purchase the Kosas Revealer Concealer here. What do you think of clean beauty and this concealer?
Lots of love and see you next time!
