Hey loves!
Today, I want to review a new concealer. Are concealer reviews still a thing? Because I’m really excited to bring it back. So let’s review the E.L.F Hydrating Camo Concealer!

DETAILS
You might not know this but the original E.L.F Camo Concealer was not really my cup of tea. To say it more dramatically, I absolutely hated it. So I was hesitant to try out the hydrating version. However, I saw a lot of people online talking about this concealer and it being the better version of the matte concealer. So I decided to go for it.
E.L.F Cosmetics describes the Hydrating Camo Concealer as a long-wear liquid concealer that provides crease-proof full coverage while hydrating your skin.
It should have a satin finish with full coverage and all-day wear time. All E.L.F products are cruelty-free and vegan and they are free of phthalates, parabens, nonylphenol ethoxylates, triclosan and hydroquinone. I’m not a chemist so I have no idea what those are, but I wanted to include this information for the people that might care!
The Hydrating Camo Concealer retails for $6, ยฃ5, โฌ6 and contains 6ml. 6ml is quite a bit of product and will last you a long time!
PACKAGING
The packaging is pretty basic. It comes in a standard tube with a big doe foot applicator. The doe-foot applicator (isn’t that the strangest word though?) is really big. I like to scrape off most of the product before I apply it on the area that needs concealing because it picks up so much product.
It says e.l.f Hydrating Camo Concealer Satin Finish on the tube. The cap is white and has a nice grip. The shade name and other information like the amount and where it’s made is on the bottom of the tube. Btw, is it E.L.F or e.l.f? Can somebody please inform me because I’m confused haha.
FORMULA
The formula is definitely very different from the original Camo Concealer. Gone are those dry, flaky and super creasy days and welcome to full coverage and natural finish heaven. The formula has a nice satin finish. Just the right balance between matte and dewy. It has a natural finish in the sense that it looks hydrated underneath the eyes. The finish is really beautiful on my dry and dehydrated skin. This surprised me actually!
It definitely has a lot of coverage. Maybe a bit too much for my taste these days, but I still like this concealer a lot. I feel like it’s on the verge of being full coverage and it can be once you build it up. I wouldn’t build it up too much though because this concealer is very creamy and thick. Too much product might end up in too much creasing because the formula is so hydrating and thick. Personally, I think this is full coverage because it covers almost everything. I know that some people prefer a concealer that covers everything, instead of almost everything which is why I say that this might not be full coverage for some.
SWATCHES
I bought the colour Light Ivory which is described as a light colour with neutral warm undertone. I feel like it leans slightly more neutral and maybe a hint of pink depending on my skin that day. I also feel like it’s a smidge too light for my complexion and makes it look stark sometimes. Sometimes it bothers me and other days it doesn’t. I do think I will take the next shade in the range next time I purchase this.
The E.L.F or e.l.f Hydrating Camo Concealer definitely redeemed the original Camo Concealer. It’s a lovely concealer for days where I feel like I want full coverage and a snatched, flawless under eyes. Definitely a concealer which is a great fit for those glam days! The e.l.f Hydrating Camo Concealer is available here for only $6!
Lots of love and see you next time!
